AI can be the best study partner a student ever had, or the fastest way to learn nothing. The difference is whether you use it to practise and check, or to skip the thinking. This page is for school and college students in India who want the first kind, and for the parents and teachers who want to help them.
Turn a chapter into practice questions
From a chapter on Fundamental Rights, ask for ten prelims-style multiple-choice questions with four options, a difficulty mix, an answer key, and a one-line explanation per answer citing the article number. Then answer them before looking. KARO mission 14 builds an AI Examiner that does not go easy on you.
Revision timetables that respect reality
Five subjects, maths the weakest, four study hours a day, exam dates given: ask for a 14-day timetable weighted to the weak subject, with two full revision cycles and one rest slot a day. The tool is good at arithmetic and scheduling; you decide the weights.
Let it tutor you, not do your work
Tell the tool your level, your goal, your preferred style (examples first, then theory) and a rule: ask me one question after each explanation and correct me before continuing. That rule turns a chatbot into a tutor. Copying an answer teaches you to copy; being questioned teaches you the topic.
Explain your project in 60 seconds
Problem, your role, method, result with a real number, one lesson; then the two follow-up questions an examiner would ask. Practise the answers out loud. This works for viva, internship interviews and campus placements.
Summarise research papers honestly
Ask for question, method, sample size, main finding with the actual numbers, the limitations the authors state, and one limitation you notice, in 200 words, with anything unclear marked "unclear from the text". Then read the abstract and conclusion yourself; the tool can misread a table.
Ask for help properly
An extension request to a professor: honest reason, proposed date, offer of evidence, under 90 words, respectful. A message to a group about a schedule change: calm, clear, two languages. Small writing tasks, done well, are where reputations start.
Spot scams
An internship that asks for a registration fee, a course page with countdowns and salary promises, a "certificate" you can buy: ask the tool for a checklist to judge each one, then apply it. Never send money to be allowed to work.
Academic honesty
Use AI to understand, to practise, to check and to structure. Do not submit AI-written work as your own where your institution forbids it, and disclose AI help where it is allowed. The Coach in AajAI scores your instructions, not your homework; it is built to make you better, not to do the work for you.
Age and consent
A revision session that uses AI properly
Forty minutes, one chapter. First ten minutes: read the chapter yourself; no tool. Next ten: ask for ten questions with an answer key and citations, then answer them on paper before looking. Next ten: for every wrong answer, ask the tool to explain the concept with one example from daily life and then to ask you a new question on the same point. Last ten: ask for a five-line summary in your own words, compare it with what you would have written, and note the two things you missed. The tool never wrote your notes and never answered for you; it questioned you, which is the only thing that moves marks.
Group study and projects
For group projects, use the tool to split work into owners and dates from a messy WhatsApp thread, to draft the five-slide outline with word limits, and to predict the examiner's questions. Do not use it to write the report for a member who did nothing; the viva will find out. For competitive exams, an AI Examiner instruction with a marking scheme and a weak-area tracker is worth more than any paid question bank, because it adapts to what you got wrong yesterday.
AajAI is for learners aged 18 and above by default. A guardian-consent flow for younger students exists under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and will be switched on later; minors receive no tracking or marketing.
Start with the free surfaces
Take the AI Readiness Score (two minutes, no signup), try today's challenge, and run the free sample mission. If the Coach check makes you better at instructing a tool in ten minutes, SAMJHO for ₹50 (taxes included, timer starts when you decide) is the next step. There are no countdowns and no income claims anywhere on this site; the certificate records practice and a Coach-checked score, nothing more.
Questions
Is using AI for studying cheating?
Using it to practise, question yourself, plan and check is studying. Submitting its output as your own where that is forbidden is cheating. Ask your institution and disclose AI help where allowed.
Which free tools work for students?
A tool that answers only from your own notes and cites them, for revision; a general assistant for tutoring and practice questions. The Tool Selector lists both with privacy notes.
Can a college buy AajAI for a batch?
Yes: the college edition Team pack has a faculty manager, a batch code and a manager view of completion and AI Score bands. Certificates carry verification codes.
I am under 18. Can I join?
Only with verified guardian consent when that flow is switched on. Until then, the free surfaces (AI Score, challenge, Tool Selector) are open to everyone without an account.
